Data sources and attribution

Listings combine several public and open data sources. Each listing shows where its credential and service information comes from. This page lists every source and the notices its license asks us to show.

Overture Maps Places

70 listings are marked "Listing from Overture Maps". We found them in the Overture Maps Places dataset (release 2026-09-23.0). Place data © Overture Maps Foundation, overturemaps.org, available under theCommunity Data License Agreement – Permissive, Version 2.0.

The Overture records behind these listings contain data from the following sources:

What we changed: we selected places by category and business name, removed unrelated places (for example shops, charities and engineering firms), merged duplicates, matched some businesses to state license records, and reduced each location to a city or ZIP-code point. Phone numbers, websites and street addresses from Overture are not published. A listing from Overture Maps is not a license check: only a credential shown on the listing comes from a state board record. A service is shown only when the Overture place category names it, dated by the release we used.
